Seeing Red at Being Green

....sorry about the delay guys, I was having a makeover, hope you like it.............
Well I have now found my local shops in a street with a butchers, bakers, greengrocers and fishmonger. I’d like to say that I searched high and low, waded through jungles frought with danger, fighting off Lions and Tigers and befriending wolf children, however the way I found the magical beams of inviting light was.. going home early from work one day in the daylight and seeing the shops open, busy and actually looking at them, as opposed to racing home in the dark down the street near the bus stop and close to home.
All I had to do now was work out a menu for the week and then buy the food. I have to do this as the shops have local hours, 8am to 5pm. I leave home at 6.30am to go to London for work and do not get back until 7.30pm for this to work planning ahead is essential. Now this takes time, how will I know what I want for dinner next Wednesday when I am only on this Wednesday? Frozen food in packets is out of the question as the packaging creates waste, oh yeah and it is unhealthy. So now to find the time to write out a menu. At this point I should bring in my partner-very bright and full of common sense and is usually right -hence the nickname smart arse but we will use the initials SA. Anyway SA said that when I travel by train to London daily for work instead of reading or sleeping try to sort out a list. See SA is the right name isn’t it?
So I made my first list on Thursday morning whilst sitting next to a really thin woman who thinks she is very fat as she kept elbowing me and trying to stretch herself out across the seat. In the seat opposite there was “leery man” who kept looking over his book at my legs and smirking, the urge to punch him was supressed as I struggled with what veg I can have with the lemon sole I have just put on my menu for Wednesday, (memo to self–possibly hold aggression repression course-title-“wanna punch? Order lunch!” Oh well maybe not. So now to buy the food and stick to the menu tell you more next time…
